A century ago, Waterbury's Elton Hotel was certainly THE place to stay when visiting the area. Over the years, the historic hotel had played host to many famous guests, including Presidents Kennedy and Reagan. Today, the Elton houses private living quarters, but still overlooks the green in the center of Waterbury.
