Waterbury Auto Rental
If you're considering travelling by train to Waterbury, you may find yourself following in the footsteps of your ancestors. In the late 1800's and early 1900's, many immigrants arriving through Ellis Island and other ports completed their journey by train. The clock tower at Waterbury's Union Station (pictured at right) has been a dominant part of the city skyline for nearly 100 years.
Today, a combination of rail services can bring you to Waterbury. Amtrak from points north and south connect to local service in Bridgeport, just 30 minutes away. The Metro-North commuter rail also adds frequent trips from New York's Grand Central Terminal to Bridgeport, again providing connections to Waterbury.
